Felos beach Andros

The resort of Felos is located on the north-western cost of Andros on a hook of land that lies opposite the main port of Gavrio.
Felos has a long swathe of grey sand than lines an attractive horseshoe bay. A line of tamarisk treed runs virtually the whole length of the beach to provide plenty of natural shade.
There is a small stream that runs down across the beach at the northern end and there are rocky coves found to the south.
The area around Felos beach is rich farmland and there are fields of corn and olive groves lining the narrow lanes that spider this part of Andros.
There are other small and pleasant beaches to be found to the north of Felos, notably at Charakas, and to the south where there are small arcs of sand at Kourtali and Selki.
None of these Andros beaches have any facilities so you shoul take food and water if you plan a visit.
