Sidari is one of the biggest tourist resorts on Corfu and it's located on the north coast, about 45 kilometres from Corfu Town, near the resort of Roda.
The former small fishing port now offers tourist beds for more than 17,000 holidaymakers making it one of the most popular resorts on the island.
One of its most attractive features is the Canal d'Amour area to the west resort. Canal d'Amour striking formations of sandstone have been sculpted by wind and waves to create a very attractive beauty spot.
The Sidari resort proper has three beaches and they all offer good tourist facilities with lots of watersports and a scuba diving centre.
Sidari is one of Corfu's biggest tourist hotspots and there are any number of restaurants, cafes and shops to meet all tastes and there are numerous nightclubs and karaoke bars for those looking for a more exciting nightlife.
The central Sidari village square is now a near riotous maze of happy hour bars, British-style pubs, all-day English breakfast and cheap souvenir shops.
There is a regular bus service both east and west of Sidari and there are plenty of taxis.
