Elia beach Mykonos

ELIA is one of the largest among the chain of 'party' beaches that run along the south coast of Mykonos.
Elia has very soft sand and the beach is a big favourite of the gay crowd, hence plenty of nudity along the shoreline, alhough it is mainly confined to the western end of the beach.
There is a regular bus service to Elia beach and it is one of the ports of call for the daily caiques that set out from Platys Yialos and Ornos and hop along the south coast beaches.
Elia beach is about 10km from Mykonos Town and, although it is a popular beach, it remains relatively quiet compared to the manic beach party mentality that defines other beaches such as Paradise and Super Paradise.
Elia is still a busy beach, though with several large hotels sitting on the hillside to the east . There are umbrellas and sunbeds to rent on Elia beach, as well as changing rooms and showers.
The busy crowd means there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Elia has several small shops and a mini-market set behind the beach.
Watersports are also on offer at Elia beach with the usual jet skis, banana rides, parasailing and so on.
