Piso Livadi Paros

The Paros holiday resort of PISO LIVADI is found on the south-eastern shore of Paros, about 18km from the capital port at Parikia along a decent coast road.
Piso Livadi is a picturesque seaside village with a small port where fishing boats sit within a double harbour wall and where traditional Greek tavernas gather along the harbour wall.
It is a very small village, with only about 100 permanent residents, but it has grown into a very popular holiday resort and numbers swell considerablyin the summer months.
Piso Livadi a much quieter alternative to the more crowded resorts on Paros, such as those at Parikia and Naoussa.
Piso Livadi village has a long, sandy beach that is edged with tamarisk trees to give it some natural shade. The port is also the main destination for boats on this side of the island.
Boats leave Piso Livadi for the islands of Naxos, Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Dilos and Antiparos.
Piso Livadi has developed a good tourism infrastructure with plenty of hotels, studios, apartments and holiday rooms for rent. This side of the island also has a string of good beaches making Piso Livadi an ideal base for exploring the eastern beaches of Paros island.
Nearby beaches include those at Logaras, Chryssi Akti, Nea Chryssi Akti and Pounda. Other attractions at Piso Livadi include the small church of Agios Nikolaos and the Monastery of Panaghia Xehoriani.
Only 1km inland of Piso Livadi are the large villages of Maripissa and Marmari.
